When I write a new file to my MyBook World Edition and use special national characters in the filename, it seems that the file is stored ok. However, when I try to open it (e.g. using an editor) my system reports an error. Nevertheless, in the command window I see it in the directory list and can copy it to a new name using standard characters only. This new file can be normally opened using an editor.
Can I configure my network drive to accept special characters.?
