I have 2 1 TB WD drives connected to a wd video viewer. Recently i got a message from the viewer indicating that there was no data on one of the HDs. I was able to read and copy data from that HD connecting it to a pc, however the pc took longer than norma, to recognize the drive and its contents. There is no problem at all with the other HD.
that partition might be corrupted.
You might need to writes zeros to the unit and then reformatted again to see if it goes back to normal.
