i have a seagate slim hard disck and my WD TV doesnt recognize it when coneccting

Have you test the drive on a different device?

What the files system of the drive?

Also check on the list of compatible devices to see if your unit is listed.

It won’t be recognized if it is formatted with ExFAT. Also not, when something’s wrogn with it, you should test this in Windows.
