I bought a WD My Book Essential 3TB hard drive which I have stored 1.1TB of movies on successfully from my windows vista laptop. Trouble is when I hook it into my LG Smart TV’s USB drive… it says loading… but then disappears and the USB icon on the TV is greyed out… Nothing is there!!! What do i do please???
You might get better results posting in the TV section. 2 things to check one is does your TV support drives larger than 2T? The other is what format does your TV require? Many need FAT32 instead of the Windows standard NTFS.
