Problem with laptop drive WD5000BEVT

Hello,

I have a problem with my laptop ACER Aspire 5742G running Windows 7.

The PC is very slowwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww…

I have checked for Virus, Adware, Spyware, Malware,… it seems OK

I checked the drive and defragmented it.

The system is still very slow !

I ran CHKDSK c: /F /R (At boot time). It completed successfully, but I noticed that at some places, it stopped for sometimes (Suspect it was finding and reallocating  bad sectors).

I downloaded WD Data Lifeguard Diagnostics and ran the quick test.

This test is supposed to take 2 minutes, but it completed (successfully)  after 26 minutes.

When I look at the smart data, it indicates:

 - “Reallocated sector count” has a threshold of 140 (Value is  200.

 - “Spin retry count”                  has a threshold of 51  (Value is 100)

I plan to run an extended test next night…

I suspect my drive is still usable but  in bad shape, and I would better plan a replacement. Am I right ?

If not what can I do ?

Thanks for any advice, Bernard

Those are the not the raw data. You need to show us the raw data. You can refer to HDTune Health for a screenshot.

Could you please share printscreens of hard disk sentinel
