HI all,
I recently tried to update my smartware, which i thought was the safest thing to do. However after all that was done, My Passport Smartware screen will not open. The external hard drive is recongnized by my computer but there is no way to backup my computer without that screen (or doing it manually) Is anyone else having this issue? I tried to restore my computer to an early date but that didnt work either. An error message for WD Smartware always pops up saying it has encountered a problem and needs to close. Also, there is no WD SMartware icon in my bottom tray, as there used to be… HELP!
