Problem while Copying and deleting files - WD Passport

i hardly used the drive a couple of times. I took back up from my laptop.

Now, when connected to any machine it is taking long time to detect the drive. I thought all would be set if i format it and was trying to copy the data from the drive to my laptop. But when trying to copy, it starts estimating the size of the file and runs long. The same is case with deleting a file.

I recommend you run a diagnostic on the drive using WD DLG to determine its health
