Problem transferring large file of images from computer to My Book 4 tb - long filenames

I started transferring a large folder of images, something like 135,500 images from my computer to MY BOOK (4 tb), and left it to run overnight.  When I checked it this morning, there was an error message on my computer that said, to this effect –

0112

Filename too long

then it had a box to check to skip or one to cancel

then it said there were 2014 files found that had this problem

Then IT GAVE NO CLUE to which 2014 files did not transfer due to this problem, and I had no way to know which ones to shorten the filenames,  and now don’t know which files did not transfer!  I want to back up all my picture files.  That is why I bought the 4 TB WD MY BOOK.

Please, if anyone can help me, tell me what to do to find the 2014 files, or what I can do to identify them to get them backed up too.

Also, I was hoping to delete some of the files from my computer’s D drive once I had the image files transferred to the MY BOOK drive, and now I am afraid to delete any, since I don’t know which files are in the 2014 that didn’t transfer.

This is my first time using the MY BOOK external drive.

I didn’t use any of the WD backup software, but just simply Copied/Pasted the large image file folder from Drive D to the MY BOOK external drive.  A lot of the images are raw (CR2) large image files.
