Problem running WD_SmartWare_Installer_2.4.11.4 insufficient privileges

I’m having problems running WD_SmartWare_Installer_2.4.11.4 I get the message 

installer run as admin.jpg
installer run as admin.jpg536×583 34.7 KB

I’m running the installer as administrator and running under win 8.1

anyone know what I’m doing wrong?

Are you trying to install the application while logged in under a user account (account type) configured as an administrator account? Or are logged into windows on a non administrator account (account type) and are simply right clicking on the WD Smartware installer file and selecting “run as administrator”?

If your not logged in with an account type that is configured as an administrator account you may want to log out and log in with an account configured that has its account type configured as an administer account and try installing the software that way (while logged in as administrator).
