Problem on write/delete/changing permission in My Book under Mac

Hi fella!

I used My Book for backup my data via Windows 7.
Then while I try to write/delete data in My Book via iMac, I failed to do so.
It said “Read Only”
I have tried to find any permission setting in WD Utilities, but there is no such an option.
Now my Windows PC is down, I can only use Mac to access My Book.
Any one had the similar problem?:joy:

Hello,

Due to the file system on the drive, it will only show on Mac as a read only drive.

If you want to use the drive for storage on the Mac, you will need to reformat the drive using the disk utilities to change the file system and this will erase the data on the drive.
