Problem in Detecting New My passport SE 750 gb external hard drive

Hi,

I recently bought one 750gb hard disk. I want to make it compatible on both MAC and Windows. So I formatted the new hard disk, using MAC disk utility. It is working fine for MAC, Problem comes when I am connecting it with Windows XP or Windows7. The hard disk is not detected in windows. Please adivce how can I proceed. I want to use the hard drive in both MAC and windows. This hard drive which i bought was for PC. I bought this following model.

Western Digital - My Passport Essential SE 750GB External USB 3.0/2.0 Portable Hard Drive - Black.

If you formatted it for Mac Windows will will not read it. There are 2 ways to use the drive on both. One is format the drive for Windows NTFS and download NTFS-3G  http://mac-free.com/download/NTFS-3G.html for the Mac. The other is format the drive FAT32 but the max file size is 4 gig.

Thanks for the information. But How can I format the hard disk now from Windows, as I am not able to detect it in windows.
