Problem finding Metadata

For some reason, I can’t get the metasource to find Psych on the WDTV player. I have all of the episodes in separate folders, but no matter what I search, it doesn’t come up. I’m using the default tvdb.com metasource, and Psych is on the website, so what gives? I’ve searched 'Psych.S01E01" and pretty much any variant I could think of, but nothing comes up. Suggestions?

You must rename the tv show as name.s01e01.mkv (for example) in the PC, not in the search options. Then it works fine

OK…I’ll give it a shot. Never HAD to do that before…usually if it couldn’t find the info the search worked fine.

This did work, but I have another issue that I’ve noticed before. And, this is a really minor issue, but you might know the solution.

When the player updates the meta data for a certain TV season, it doesn’t recognize that double digits come AFTER 9… it ALWAYS numbers them as follows:

1

10

11

12

13

14

15

16,etc.

2

3

4

5

6

7

8

9

Any ideas?

I also noticed this annoying bug, it seems to be a common problem: http://community.wdc.com/t5/WD-TV-Live-Streaming-Issue/Auto-scraped-TV-show-TITLES-lead-to-bad-SORTING/idi-p/305090

Oh man is that annoying…I’m too lazy to edit XML files haha. Thanks for the solution
