I have 2 NVRs in my setup and one of them runs just fine, currently with 7 cameras connected. The other one currently has only one camera connected, but it’s in the garage and running a cable there would be a nightmare so I tried connecting via Powerline adapter (TP-Link TL-PA7010, plus PoE injector on the camera end), and it works but with major quirks. Unless the camera (powerline adapter) is disconnected during boot-up of the NVR, it will not connect to the cloud. In order to make it work, I need to first start the NVR, then connect the camera. I could live with that routine but unfortunately after a few hours-days-weeks the NVR will lose its connection to the cloud, not sure what triggers that. Never happens with the other NVR with all cameras connected “normally”.
