Private share not working and Plex

I have a strange problem.
I got 2pc’s in the household, Public share shows up fine on both.
Both pc’s are practically identical, and we use WD Discovery to connect to to the private share on Win 10 (21H1).
But the private share only shows up on one of the computers “cmd:net use” gives me this:
X: \MYCLOUD-0ADC4C\Public Microsoft Windows Network
Z: \Pc1\My Cloud_4e2fc18acad7856f112001b31524a1d8 Virtual Network Redirector WDFSConnect v2017
(Why does the private share go through the local pc, that feels odd…?)

The other PC just shows:
X: \MYCLOUD-0ADC4C\Public Microsoft Windows Network

I checked that ‘wdfsconnect2017.sys’ was located in the 'c:\windows\system32\drivers' folder on both PC’s, so it’s not that, the account doesn’t matter either, nothing shows up, the only way that PC is connecting to any private share is trough mycloud.com.
It’s annoying having to move everything through one PC to the Plex server instead of just use the private share from both PC’s or ever better: ‘\MYCLOUD-0ADC4C\Public\Plex’…

Since that’s the PC that’s connected to the livingroom TV it causes a bit of a problem, i assume that it makes an external connection to the Plex server, since it’s not accessible ‘locally’ without access to the private share. It’s constantly problems with the connection and often it breaks mid-watch.
It doesn’t matter if we try the win10 Plex app or through a browser: ‘http://app.plex.tv’,
