Presales: can expansion drive be used to create 2nd backup?

Hi,

If I purchase a WD elements ext drive and plug it into the expansion slot, can I use the software bundled with the WD my cloud to automatically back up to both drives (for redundancy)?

please explain how this would be done or if there is another solution - the end goal being NAS backup with redundancy.

You would back up your content to the NAS, then use Safepoints fom the NAS to backup the NAS content to the attached USB drive.
