New user with an EX 2 Ultra…
I created a share - ‘Share1’
I created a user - ‘User1’ - This created a share ‘User1’ and gave User1 Full Control.
I created a group - ‘Group1’, added ‘User1’ to it and gave the group Read Only access to Share1 and Deny Access for share ‘User1’.
When I look at Share1 on the Shares page, there is no Group Access information, but the User Access section shows ‘User1’ set to ‘Deny Access’.
My question is; what access does User1 have to Share1? Is it RO, per the Group1 assignment? Or is it none, per the User Access setting? Which takes precedence?
What access does User1 have on share User1? Is it No Access per the group, or is it Full Access per the share’s User Access settings?
