PR4100 Transfers and File renaming

I having burning question which I cannot wrap my head around. I recently bought the PR4100 which is an awesome device and have it configured with Raid 5 but files transfers within the NAS are weird. Whenever I use the MyCloud mobile app to cut and paste things within the NAS the process is almost instantaneous but when I move to Windows 10 and perform the same task, it seems that the nas is using my PC to make the move and that process takes ages. The same can be said about batch renaming files using a program like Filebot. The NAS literally moves the files within the same folder using my PC when renaming. What up with that?
