Had a drive fail on my PR4100 (bay 4). Did the usual and popped a new drive in, but the light never came on to recognize it and start rebuilding the raid. Tried another drive as well…shut it down/turned it back on. It will not recognize anything in bay 4. Any ideas of what to check?? I really hope the port in the bay isnt dead…

I did chat with support and they said the drive bay is likely dead. We
didnt do any troubleshooting at all though…I was hoping for some more in
depth testing to determine that. I guess I need to build a new media center
now UGH.
