I am learning about VLANs basically by trial and error and it’s not going that well at the moment. I had set up a VLAN specially for LAN1 and finished all the dialogs last night but the NAS never completed updating. This morning, it was still hung so I powered off/on and went back to see what was happening with LAN1. VLAN was still turned on and the port had a 169.254.x.x address. I tried turning VLAN off again and it is doing the same thing - apparently endless updating.
How can I get VLAN turned off on the NAS port until figure out how to use it properly? Don’t know that it’s related but also using about 37% of RAM with essentially zero CPU activity.
