PPPOE Connection Problem

Hi

I am having a problem trying to create a PPPOE Connection from my notebook using using the Windows WAN Mini Port network connection option.

I have a WD My Net N900 router. with Firmware Version 1.07.16

(The router is connected to the DSL modem, which is using a different ISP, and is working fine)

If I bypass the router and connect the notebook directly to the DSL Modem I am able to connect, so I assume the connection is getting blocked by the router somehow (error 651).

Any suggestions on how to get this to work?

Hi,

Have you tried resetting the device back to factory defaults?

 For information on how to do that, please see page 67 of the user manual
