Power multiple WD Elements drives (5)

Hi all,

I have a total of 5 WD Elements 2 TB drives and was wondering if I get a powered USB hub will it work in eliminating the need for each drive to have its own AC adapter?  Has anyone tried this?  Any help would be appreciated.

No these drives are not USB powered.

Thx for the reply. 

Which brings up another question, is there an AC adapter that would power multiple drives?  5 drives with 5 plugs take up way too many sockets.  Anyone have any suggestions how to accomplish this?
