Power management with WD Red on a RAID controller

I have 3x WD Red WD30EFRX drives on an HP P222 RAID controller running them on RAID5.

I was wondering whether the drives have any sort of power management while being in a RAID array, seeing these drives are designed for NAS applications - I know most RAID controllers do not spin down the drives on idle.

Hi,

We dont have an application that allows you to set a power management on the drive. However, the unit comes with a Power Management feature that enables optimized power usage within the NAS system and protects your data in the event of a power loss or disruption.

What I mean is, the RAID controller/array is designed not to spin down drives (or else the drive could be detected as a drive fault) - what sort of power management can the drive offer, outside of when the controller tells the drive to spin-up and spin-down, to keep idle consumption low?
