Poor Video playback with new router

Hello,

I have been using a Netgear WNDR3400 for several years, in combination with a Omninas KD20 NAS to store and playback TS video files, without problems. I use a CAT-6 ethernet connection between my router and WD TV Live player. However, recently I updated my router to a Netgear AC1750. Now when I try to play my video files, they start okay, and play for a few minutes, but then they start to skip and eventually lose sound, too. Has anyone else seen this kind of issue? Thanks.

I’d recommend comparing the network settings used by your old and your new router in order to match them. It could very well be configuration issue.
