My Book 3TB external drive prevents my system from Booting, I have to unplug the Drive and wait for my system to boot and then plug it in to use it. I’ve submitted 3 cases with western digital…2 to talk about the booting problem and 1 about the constantly flashing light on the drive. This is a brand new drive I bought in the beginning of October.
Western Digital has closed these cases without a response, not even to acknowledge there is a problem, or even a thank you for your response…NOTHING, ZILCH…No response…This is not showing a good corporate image.
Short of ripping the drive out of it’s case (which will void the warrenty), how am I going to get an answer or even a response from Western Digital.
Has anyone else encountered these problems, and how was it fixed
