I bought 2 WD7501AALS-00E8B0. In BIOS each is prefixed differently.

One is PM-WDC WD7501AALS-00E8B0 and the other is 4S-WDC WD7501AALS-00E8B0. Unable to locate any information on the difference.

Are these manufacturing run numbers or something else I’m missing.

Thank ahead of time for the enlightenment.

It appears that your drives are operating in IDE mode.

I believe that PM / PS / SM / SS refer to Primary and Secondary, Master and Slave.
