Plex Won't Enable

What is going on? I’ve used Plex successfully for years. Today, all my media suddenly disappeared and it was saying could not connect to server.

I’ve went to my WD Home and disabled Plex, with a view to re-enabling it. It now won’t ‘enable’. Spins for a bit, then just shows ‘enable’ option again - both desktop and app.

Does suggest the server disk is toast, disks do not last forever

This only happened after performing latest update. Took an age to ‘disable’ Plex to start with. Same thing, then suddenly it happened. Now won’t ‘enable’ again for fresh configuration.

It’s just over 2 years old, hence out of guarantee. Can the ‘disk’ be replaced - or is that generally the shelf-life of a WD product?
