How do I load up my plex files in OS 5 ?
Do you have Plex installed? You can run plex from either a PC or from the NAS itself.
If you have Plex on your PC, you can have the “library” reference the NAS drive as a simple network drive.
Actually, if plex is running from the NAS itself. . .it pretty much works the same way: You set up the “library” directories to point to the NAS folders where the media is stored.
I have run plex in both modes; (Server running on PC; with a different server running on the NAS) although admittedly; I have not used it in a few months and am a bit rusty.
