hi …

I have a problem with my WD1600AVJS …

when I plug my wd hard and boot up my pc … the bios boot up screen identify my wd disk and freezes …

I tried to change the power and data cable but it didn’t solve the problem …

when I plug the wd hard disk out my pc runs fine …

please some help experts

This might indicate a failed drive.

If possible test on a different motherboard or cable.

If the drive is under Warranty process the RMA request.

unfortunately no … because I’ve my hard disk over than 6 years …

is there any hope to fix it ??
