Please Help!

Hi i got an WD My cloud…

it was in the cellar since 2015 / i did an update… today…
my wife died and i got stored a lot if Fotos and Videos from us there…
i can log in but i cant access the data files…
guys… i beg u … please help !

Sounds like the update might’ve caused some data access issues, but since you’re logged in, there’s hope! Hopefully, the files are just hiding somewhere in the cloud, waiting to be unlocked.

hi thx for the answers , i logged in but i dont know how to donwnload the data

for example ich see that there are 172 files in the folder but in the webviewer i dont see a file

please help-… please

If you can log in but can’t access the files, connect via SSH or a recovery tool.

Also, check if the update changed permissions.

Sorry for your loss. If you can log in but not see your files, try opening File Explorer, press Win + R, type \\Your-MyCloud-IP, and hit Enter to check if they show up. If not, log into the My Cloud dashboard and make sure you have the right permissions.

You can also enable SSH in settings and use PuTTY to look for the files. If nothing works, a try using data recovery software which might help. L\
