Hi
I have a CloudEX2 Ultra that i’m struggling to connect to my office that I’ve just bought in the hope it would sort my server needs for a small design company. I have the NAS drive connected via ethernet to my Sky broadband router, and it talks perfectly to my macbook pro connected to this network. But I have an office that is away from the house, so I have cloned the sky SSID via powerline connectors (tplink av600). The 4 imac’s on this cloned network see the NAS drive and i try and mount a folder and then the imac’s go into a cycle of trying to connect, beach ball spinning and then crashing the finder. I don’t know if i should plug the NAS drive into the ethernet port of the powerline on the cloned network or if its an IP issue or something i need to trigger in the settings of the powerline software. TBH i’m not a networking expert, but trying to learn all i can to get it to work.
Many thanks in advance.
