Please Help! USB HUB information needed

Could some one please help me.

I have a WD TV (not live) and would like to use a USB Hub in order to use more than 2 drives.

What version of B-rad’s  firmware is required? ( a hyper link would be nice)

What type of hub is required? Powered or not powered?

Are there any specifics that I need to know? Certain ways of booting?

Please Please Help!
