I will probably be shot down for asking but if anyone can help I would really appreciate it.
The image is as far as I can get on this. I am trying to access my photos. My sob story is my husband passed away in April and I need these photos. I’m nearing 66 in age and not tech savvy at all. Can anyone point me in the right direction please. Thanks in advance
@Decsnan
This is the older first generation WDMYCLOUD. Do you have it setup to work on your home network? Are you on a Windows or Apple computer?
If you know the name of a user or share you can try this. See example image below.
Fow Windows File Explorer enter this \\WDMYCLOUD.
This is the furthest I’ve managed to get in a long time. Unfortunately it won’t let me go any further? Won’t let me put a name in?
Because you can access the My Cloud Dashboard you should go to the Shares tab (in the top menu area). Once on the Shares tab, select each Share from the left hand list and set the Public option to On. This will set each Share so a user name and password is not required for access.
Next, using either Windows File Explorer or Mac Finder, try accessing the My Cloud in the Network Neighborhood of the file manager program.
Use Windows File Explorer or Mac Finder to access the My Cloud Shares and then copy the files from the My Cloud to another location if needed.

If one is having trouble accessing the My Cloud using Windows then one may need to make a setting change within Windows to allow it to see the My Cloud:

What you are trying to use in this image no longer works.
The address I showed you, \\WDMYCLOUD should work for Windows computers.
Thank you for your help. I will try everything that you have suggested and see how I get on.
Ver kind of everyone, thanks again
That looks like the login window for one of the old WD software apps, probably the WD My Cloud Desktop app for Windows/Mac, that have been discontinued many years ago.

Edit: Or maybe its the old discontinued WD My Cloud Quick View app.
