Please advise hardisk is not working

I have 2 western digital hardisk with the problem

  1. hardisk unable to detect in my computer even i change a new a new hardisk casing adapter connection? is that means hardisk is not working/ spoil?

  2. hardisk detected but unable to shown on my computer and when i try undergo the instruction for disk management to initialize the disk. it was unable to initialize and shown comment box “Incorrect Function”. is that means hardisk is spoil?

anyone face this problem before can advise?

Try to see if you get the same issue when connecting the drives on a different computer or using a different USB cable or port. Hope this helps.
