Is it possible to play songs from itunes on my laptop to the WD Live Hub wirelessly and play through the connected speakers? Instead of navigating everything via WD Live Panel?
Like itunes uses airport express connected speakers?

No, WDTV doesn’t support the AirPlay functionality.
However, you CAN use any other DLNA DMC to do it (like Windows Media Player in windows 7)
Of course, it only works if the music files aren’t Apple DRM’d.
