Setup: DS210j and WDTV Live connected to a WLI-TX-AG300N ethernet converter
Firmware
DS210j: DSM 2.3-1141
WDTV Live: 1.02.19 (Beta)
Problem:
When I run higher bitrate Blu-Ray MKV files, the playback begins to stutter. Lower bitrate files have no problem. This is only when using the DS-210j as a media server. Network shares does not show the same problem and playback is fine.
Other info:
The stutter appears to occur when the DS210j is sending data above ~5200Kb/s. Below that no stutter occurs. This occurred during one of the opening scenes of Inglorious **bleep**. Playing The Hangover (via DLNA/media server) the bitrate remains below 4500 Kb/s and no stutter occurs.
Playing Inglorious **bleep** via Network shares, same scenes, no stutter.

I’ve attached the resource monitoring chart for the network traffic.
Top Chart: The Hangover (DLNA)
Bottom Chart: Inglorious **bleep**
Minute 13 - 10: DLNA Stutter
Minute 9 - 5: DLNA playback good
Minute 4 - 0: Network Share playback good (same scenes as Minute 13 - 10)
I’ll upload the media info later today.
Any ideas?
