Playback problems of shows recorded from Hauppauge HD-PVR

Hi all,

I’ve searched the forums but cannot find a similar thread.

I record television using MediaPortal and 2 Hauppauge HD-PVR devices that record high definition content.

I use the WD TVLiveHub for netflix and to playback movies successfully.  But when I play shows recorded by HD-PVR, the playback has issues:

  1. The playback takes 20 seconds to start… slow, but fine.

  2. At almost exactly the 1m30s mark, the audio cuts out and the video continues.

  3. Pausing and resuming does not help

  4. jumping ahead or back does not help.

  5. only starting the playback over again resumes the audio for 1m30s

I thought that the Main@L4.0 profile was supported, but do correct me if I’m mistaken.

Any ideas?

Oh ya, my TVliveHub is using the firmware: 2.07.17

What if you make a quick remux in case there’s something missing?

Well, a run through videoredo quick stream fix seems to have fixed it… not sure what it fixed, but it worked on one file anyways.

Let me do a bit more testing before marking this as solved, but it sure does look good so far.

Thanks for your help.
