Playback jutter every 5 sec

New to the forum here so thanks in advance for any help.  I searched the previous threads but couldn’t find my exact issue.  Most files play well but any file a captured from DVD seems to stop for a frame or two every 5 seconds.  Audio plays fine even through the video pause.  I captured the dvd video using my PS3.  I think it could be the PS3 upscaling the output but can’t figure out how to change that.  Blu-ray caputered from the PS3 work fine using the same capture method.  Here’s the info on a file that has the problem.  The only big difference I see is the frame rate.  Could this be the problem?  How can I fix it?  Handbrake or re-capture a differetn way?

Does the same problem happens with other video files?

Only other files captured in the same manner from dvd. Using handbrake I can tell encode with frame rate @ 29.97 and they work fine. I just have to figure out how to get the PS3 to output it that way in the first place. Having to use GB on e dry dvd file is taking forever.
