Could we have a PLAIN TEXT input box, with a fixed width font, rather than just HTML and “Rich Text” options?
I’d like to be able to input ordinary text, with no fancy formatting, or other annoyances. I don’t want Lithium’s HTML parser to discard my carriage returns, or to reduce multiple spaces to a single space. Nor do I want it to substitute a proportional font in place of a fixed width font, thereby mangling my ASCII art or my tabular data.
I just want WYSIWYG, without having to go through the pain of rich text. Something simple like Windows’ NotePad.
