Piggy backed WD My Book 1140 not downloading folders

I have a WD My Book 1140 (current firmware), plugged into my WDMYCLOUD (current firmware), this is connected to my Linksys E2000. The condition below was demonstrated on both my Samsung Note 10.1 (tablet) and LG G2 (phone) using the WD Cloud App.

When I try to download (to tablet or phone) individual files (one or more) from the piggybacked My Book or from the MyCloud, everything works fine.

When I try to download folders (to the tablet or phone) from the Mycloud, everything works fine.

When I try to download a folder (to table or phone) from the piggybacked My Book, I get instant failure notification that “400 invalid request”, and the folder doesn’t get downloaded.

Why can’t I download folders from my piggybacked My Book?

Hello,

Have you verified if the problem happens with all of the folders in the Piggy backed WD My Book? As a troubleshooting step, try creating a new folder from the My Cloud app and then try to transfer that folder.
