For a long time have been using the MyCloudHome android app [version 4.15.1(1883)] to backup pictures from phone & it has worked across both cell and wifi when away from home & also at home. Now it is no longer working when away from home. I can still see files on MyCloudHome from phone when away from home, but the automatic backup never finishes.
MyCloudHome device is software version 7.3.0-107
The service was down so maybe your device will get caught up. There are two or three topics about the outage. Below is a link to one of those.

Late, but thank you. It started working again.
Really neat feature to use for extra backup incase primary cloud saving to other systems doesn’t work. Have lost phone or phone died and still got last days pictures from MyCloudHome, that really lessened the pain. Ya, a bit confusing that even though they have similar names, they are really different products and interactions and different structures. When changing products, I consider the old product a backup for old data. All current data gets copies to new device, and new data uses new device. Frustrating. #WDUserRewards
