Greetings All,
I have a My Book Live that I used to save image files that appear to have been saved under the Public folder. In Finder I attempt to view the file and I get a permissions error. The file itself appears like a “ghost” file where its somewhat “grayed-out” and states that there is no data amount. The drive is clearly holding about 4GB of data. But I’m unable to view or copy this file. I’m logged into the drive as the Admin. I’ve attempted to add or change the permissions via Finder and I don’t have permission to do so. So there appears to be over 1000 images (family photos) that I’ve lost access to. This is a network drive so I can just plug it in directly into my desktop or windows based computer for direct troubleshooting. Please help!
