Permission to write to USB HD attached to WD TV Live

OK I have a TV Live to which I have a USB hard drive attached.

I can see the USB storage just fine in my Win 7 computer and can read the content  or even copy the files to my computer.

But it’s not working when I try to copy a file from the computer to the USB drive attached to the WD TV Live, what’s the catch ? It says I don’t have permission to…Any ideas ?

Just a wild shot in the dark here, but what is the size of the file you’re trying to copy?

If it’s greater than 4GB and your drive is formatted FAT then that’s the problem.  If not then disregard this reply.

NTFS and 1.29Gb…I tried just creating a folder and it’s still not working…I get that permission ■■■■.
