Hi all, any chance someone could tell me the deal with “WD My Book® Duo” and the “My Book Live Duo”. My main question is i am a forlorn and unloved owner of the later is the hope that firmware updates applied to the former would also work on the later. Yes somewhat a desperate hope i know. One can wish.
Also, my dump questions, whats the difference between the my cloud mirror and the duo?

The Mirror is a newer version of the Duo it’s a faster unit.

The My Book Duo is a USB-attached drive. The My Book Live Duo is a Network-attached Storage (NAS) device.
The My Book Duo doesn’t have firmware, and if it did, would not be compatible with the My Book Live Duo.
The My Cloud Mirror is much newer than the My Book Live Duo.
