.pdf corruption issue

I have a MacBook Pro running Ventura v13.0.1 and a PR2100 running My Cloud OS5. If I create a .pdf file in Adobe Acrobat and then transfer the file to the PR2100 I get an error.

The transfer produces an error message: "The operation can’t be completed because an unexpected error occurred (error code 100093).

An attempt to open the file creates another error message: “Adobe Acrobat could not open the ‘filename’ because it is either not a supported file type or the file has been damaged…”.

This only happens to files transferred to the NAS. The problem is quite recent. The PR2100 has been operating well otherwise.
