I recently purchased a new PC with Windows 8. I have tried using my external hard drive to access pictures I had saved on it. Most of the files/pictures open, but there are a few folders which I can not access stating I don’t have permission. I researched getting permission to these folders, which I believe is correct, however now when I try to open the .jpg files in the folder I receive the following message: “We can’t get to this file because the PC has blocked access to it.”
These pictures are quite important as they are of my son so I desperately need to get them. Can anyone help??
