I have the WD TV connected to My Home Network and a 2 TB external with my movies connect to the WD TV. There is a user who streams movies to her PC and sometimes pauses the movie for up to 30 minutes. There are times when she forgets and its on pause for hours. Is this harmful to my WDTV and External drive? Thanks
Not to the WD, and I’m guessing not to the HD. Since it’s not reading data, your HD should go to idle.
