I have “MyBookLive” and me and my ex-wife are using it. I figure it might be a good idea to put 2 folder “Hers and Mine” where only she can get into hers but not mime and visa vera. It’s been 10 years since I did this. Can we use passwords or do we have to use are network computer names, I’m kind of lost?
I am not sure I understand completely, but perhaps this will help.
You can create “shares” that are password protected. If you do, when you browse to the drive you will see Public, His, Hers, etc… for however many shares you create. If you click on His share it will ask you for the user name/password in order to access it.
If this is what you are looking to do, then:

go into the UI to Users.

Create new user
-
Select create share for new user (This share will have the same name as the user)

Click “Save”
Do the same for Hers.
