password protected

I have a G-Raid3 2000GB FW400/800 USB eSATA hard drive connected to a Mac that is password protected. The password written down for it is not working. Is there a master password for the drive or a way to break the password to be able to unlock and save the media stored on the drive? Thank you.

We do not password protect our drives, never have. Any password that is on the device would have been added by the user. There is no master password. You would need to erase the drive in Disk Utility if you forgot the password.

I don’t understand the software. I m the only user and I removed the system password. Still doesn’t work. It’s very hard tk setup the raid on such a. Expensive drive. Can I pls have some urgent support
