Password Help - Priceless Contents held Hostage

I have a 1 terabyte My Passport Ultra [DELETED DUE TO PRIVACY POLICY]

Recently I had to use it on a tablet and discovered that it required a password. I don’t even remember setting up a password for it to begin with. Yes, I have had it for a while. I have tried all of the passwords I can think of and the hint is useless. Formatting is NOT an option. What I need to know is what are the parameters for creating a password to begin with. Are special characters required, numbers, upper and lowercase letters? This information will give me a much better chance of getting back into my drive.

The computer I had this installed on to begin with experience a blue screen death and I have not been able to resurrect it. This drive is filled with irreplaceable photos and artwork. Please help!

Hi StormBug,

How did you set password on My Passport Ultra device?

However, WD Security not allow Special Characters and spaces to use in a password. It allows to use Upper Case, Small Case and numbers in password.
