Password forgotten, how to reset without losing data

Hey guys,

I bought a WD Mybook Essential 3 years ago, haven’t used it for some time.

Now I try to log in, but forgot my password.
After trying passwords for 4 times, it told me too many invalid passwords.
I had to unplug the USB cable and plug again.

There is important data for me in my drive.
I don’t want to lose it.

Is there any way to reset my password to login but won’t lose my data?
